RD Events are heading into their fourth year of managing the Telethon Family Festival. This event is held in conjunction with the Telethon 24 hour broadcast at RAC Arena. Entry to the festival is FREE for all ages with free carnival rides, a community stage and plenty of entertainment.

The event is held across a kilometre of closed roads including Wellington St and surrounding streets from RAC Arena to Yagan Square. The event attracts approximately 80,000 attendees.
​
Logistically this event involves time critical coordination of suppliers, beneficiaries, activations and amusement rides. The team at RD Events are responsible for the full site management which includes the site planning, compliance documentation, stakeholder management, Traffic Management, HVM Management and full event operations on the day.
The WA Day Festival held at the Optus Stadium precinct and Burswood Park, is an incredible celebration of Western Australia's spirit and culture.

This event has FREE festival entry, carnival rides, a spectacular drone and firework display, plus a free epic music concert featuring top West Australian acts.

RD Events are proud to be heading into their fourth year managing the WA Day events in Perth and three regional locations in Western Australia for Celebrate WA. In 2024, the Perth event attracted a reported 40,000 attendees at any one time and 110,000 over the day.
Perth Running Festival is a large world ranked marathon involving specifically timed road and freeway closures across the CBD and the coordination of four races simultaneously for over 13,500 participants.
RD Events manages two main separate start line event sites for four race distances of 42km, 21km, 10km and 4km. All races finish on the Field of Play inside Optus Stadium. This event involves precise planning and coordination from a highly skilled and dedicated events team.

The RDE team is responsible for full site management, course infrastructure, over 60km of road closures, supplier management, staff, volunteers, pre-event bib collection, compliance documentation, permit approvals and more.
​
This fun event with it's fast, flat course is quickly becoming a favourite for families, elite runners, and everyone in between.​
Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant
As the Event Managers of the Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant for the past eight years, RD Events has worked tirelessly to deliver a magical event enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of families. The Christmas Pageant is a yearly fixture on the calendar and in the hearts of so many Western Australians.

2024 saw over 3000 participants - from bands, cultural groups, singers and dancers to superheroes, historical bikes, and Santa Claus himself - who perform over a 1.5km pageant route through the Perth city streets. In 2024, a reported crowd of 100,000 attend this iconic event.

RD Events plays a special role in the smooth execution of this family favourite event, including the management of all participants, the parade, crowd safety, pageant route and stakeholder liaison.
The MACA Cancer 200 - Ride for the Perkins event is a massive physical and emotional achievement for everyone involved. Participants ride 200km over two days to raise money for the Perkins Institute of Medical Research. In 2024 we saw 1800 participants raise over $10 million! Riders cycled 100km from Perth to Mandurah then return to Perth the following day.
The RD Event team has the enormous responsibility of ensuring the wellbeing and safety of every participant out on the road and on site, including fully supporting every individual with all food and hydration for the entire weekend.

In 2024 the Mandurah site featured an accommodation wing with over 700 tents, showers, toilets, and dressing room with 24 hour support and a separate event village including bar, dining hall, massage tent, entertainment precinct, and more.

This is an epic event to be part of and one that means so much to so many people in our WA community.
Over the past three years, RD Events have been managing the Perth Pride Parade, which is the second largest Pride Parade in Australia!

The parade route surrounds the streets of Northbridge along with a key event precinct at Russell Square.
​
This event involves multiple road closures and the coordination of 5,500 participants to parade across a 1.2km parade route.
​
The 2024 event attracted a crowd of 60,000 bringing a fun and vibrant energy to the Perth CBD.
​
RD Events were responsible for managing the participant communication and coordination, pre event site planning, logistics, compliance approvals and documentation, road closures and HVM.
This is an emotive event with participants often walking in memory of close family and friends to raise funds for breast and ovarian cancer research.
​
The RD Events team have been involved for the past nine years, delivering a range of services including a fully catered event village at UWA and a beautiful lunch experience along the course.
​
Participants choose to walk either a 35km or 42km course across Perth and the surrounding suburbs, including through the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Walkers then join in finish line celebrations, acknowledging not only their achievement in completing the walk, but celebrating the lives of loved ones lost to cancer.
​
2025 will be the sixth Up All Night event managed by the team at RD Events. Up All Night is the only overnight walk event in Perth.
​
Raising vital funds for Ronald McDonald House, approximately 1400 event participants walk 42km across the Perth CBD and surrounding suburbs.
​
Our event team manage the planning, compliance and permit processes for the event, along with a start and finish line event site and on course infrastructure including seven aid stations.
A series of 12 swims, at 12 of WA's best beaches, from Geraldton to Busselton. Swimmers as young as five to as old as 85, whether their first swim or their fiftieth, challenge themselves to get outside their comfort zone to swim further and faster than before. ​

The RDE team have been the operational managers for the past two years and can be seen as early as 2am on event mornings working to get the beach ready, including site set up, signage management, and pack down.
